Another reason why a cross-functional team is important is that when you have more than one person working in a team, you don’t know if you can trust them. You have to trust that they are all on the same page. If you are working with someone who thinks that nothing good ever happens in their life, then you have to try to work with them, but if they feel like every decision was made by a committee, then that’s not a good team.
