The problem with self-awareness isn’t that we don’t realize that we don’t consciously control what we do, it’s that we don’t know how to use what we do consciously. That’s why I call this process the “process by which we receive, transform, and process stimuli”.

Thats okay though because it will be helpful to us in the long run. Like most of the other concepts discussed in this article, cognitive self-awareness can be taught and practiced, and it is really fun.

It takes more of us than we think to understand how our brains work. I feel strongly that we should use our brains to think more and be more educated. I want to be more aware of the ways I can use my brain, so that I can be more intelligent in every way I can. We have to focus on the complex process of learning and processing information, not just the simple process of taking in information.
