organizations can achieve a competitive advantage by using their resources to
Organizations have a responsibility to think about the impact of their decisions on others. They need to use their resources wisely when they can.
Yes, it’s true that if it’s done right, no organization can do anything wrong. But that doesn’t mean they can’t do things in the wrong ways.
The problem is, when you get to the point of making your organization do something it shouldn’t, its hard to be objective about it.
I will admit, I’m a little bit confused by the’shoulds’ that the authors of this paper have about organizations. You’d think that this could be a new area, right? After all, they said that an organization should do what it believes to be in the company’s best interest, not that it should do anything or be anything it does not believe in. I guess I don’t see the connection.
The only thing that makes this a more difficult to do is that we can actually see the organization as a whole, which would be fine but not so easy, because this one-to-one relationship is only going to be found in what can and does happen to individuals, not in what it does to individuals.
I think the reason the people in charge of an organization have trouble seeing the organization as a whole is the same reason that people in charge of a large business don’t see the corporation as a whole. For people, if they see someone doing something that they don’t normally do, they think, “Oh, that person is doing that thing because they have money.
I think the best way to understand your organization is to focus on the people, not the organization. This is because, unless you have the ability to assess the whole, you will have a difficult time seeing the whole. And even if you do, if you dont even know what the whole is, then you cant see the people.
That said, companies have been using this tactic for a long time. We’ve all seen the “I work for XYZ, so I can do that better than you” type of mentality. You may not agree with it, but it’s still how people perceive the world. In this day and age, it’s very easy to see the problems you have with a company and say, “Hey, I can take that company down.
The more you know, the better chance you are of winning, so if you don’t really know what you’re doing, then don’t even bother.
