I could go on and on and on about this, but I think its important to just point out the obvious.
One of the most well-known and oft-repeated ideas of the scientific method is that we must always start with the most obvious. So if we want to know whether the earth is flat, or if there is a god, we must take a look at physical features and see if they are obvious to us. Or if a person or group has a belief that the world is flat or a god, we must consider their beliefs.
Well what makes a belief obvious is when it can be clearly demonstrated, or proven by other evidence. In regards to the earth being flat, a person who believes that the earth is flat will never doubt that they believe this. So even if you can’t see the earth from space, or even if you can’t measure the height of the earth from the air, you can still understand that the earth is flat. And the same is true of beliefs.
You don’t need to actually believe in something to have a belief that it’s true. For example, I believe that if I had a belief that I was a zombie, it would be a very bad thing. You have to be able to clearly demonstrate that you have this belief. So if you can show that you have this belief, and you can also clearly demonstrate that you have this belief, then this belief is true.
The biggest drawback to the theory of self-awareness is that it’s not based on personal feelings. You can have a great deal of self-awareness and feelings of self-control. For example, if I felt that I should be more careful about my hair and my makeup, I would probably get a bit of self-awareness and feel that my hair is more comfortable.
The problem with this method, is that it is only reliable with certain types of self-awareness. The theory of self-awareness is an attempt to measure a person’s “self-awareness.” You can have a lot of self-awareness, but only if you can show that you have some self-awareness. The theory of self-awareness is based on your beliefs, your feelings, and your behavioral intentions.
